Meet Our Staff
Pastor Mark Goble
Pastor Mark is our Senior Pastor. He accepted this divine call in December 2024. Prior to this, he served as Christ the King's Associate Pastor for twenty-seven years dating back to 1997 when he arrived as a new graduate with a Masters of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Pastor grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and graduated from Old Dominion University (Go, Monarchs!) in Norfolk.
Pastor Mark and his incredible wife of thirty-two years, Kim, have three grown children - all University of Tennessee graduates. GO VOLS! Pastor enjoys the outdoors, reading, all types of music, traveling and golf. If you can't find him at church, you'll probably find him at Shelby Farms enjoying a good, long, walk. Pastor loves spending time with his family and he loves Christ the King!

Pastor Matthew Lynch
Pastor Matt received his divine call as Associate Pastor to Chris the King in 2024. He grew up in Houston Texas and graduated from Concordia Texas in 2019. He received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, in 2024.
Pastor Matt has a younger sister who is a teacher in Houston Texas and his parents live in Nashville Tennessee. He enjoys movies, reading, football (Go Chiefs), and lots of golf! He loves to teach, preach, and spend time with others. He is very excited to begin his ministry here at Christ the King and looks forward to many wonderful years of ministry!

Pastor Chuck Neugebauer
Pastor Chuck is Pastor Emeritus of Christ the King after serving as Senior Pastor for 29 years. He served in the Navy for five years, and graduated from the University of Delaware and Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He then planted a church in Gallatin, Tennessee, and served another congregation in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, before accepting the divine call to CTK. Pastor Chuck has served our Synod in various positions over the years in ministry, and has served the Mid-South District, LCMS, as First Vice President and Chair of the Board of Directors. He has been honored to preach on The Lutheran Hour and for various conventions and conferences nationally.
Pastor Chuck and his wife Diane have four grown sons, two of whom are Lutheran pastors, and eleven grandchildren who keep them busy during their retirement. Pastor loves to preach, teach, and all things sports and music, especially the Grizz, the Red Sox, and the Beatles.

The Board of Elders is a group of churchmen whose primary charge is to serve the Lord by ensuring Word and Sacrament at CTK are administered in accordance with the doctrine of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and by counseling their assigned members who may struggle with personal issues or matters of faith.
