Youth Ministry

 

Christ the King's Youth Ministry serves students in 7th - 12th grades.

 

LIFT(Living In Faith Together)   Christ the King's Junior High Youth Group and meets every Sunday in the youth room at 5:00 - 6:30 pm during the school year.  Bible Study, service projects and fellowship help establish relationships now that carry on through high school and beyond.

 During the school year, students in this age group meet for Confirmation Class on Sundays during the Sunday School hour beginning at 9:45 am.  Summer schedule for Middle School/Jr. High continues to meet with a more relaxed curriculum.

 

 

High School youth meet Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm for SNAC (Sunday Night After Church) for devotions, Fellowship, fun and food.  Wednesday Evening High schoolers meet for D-Groups to tackle God's Word in depth and discover how it can make a difference in their everyday lives!   These Small study groups help build relationships with one another and strengthen their foundation on the truths found in the Bible.

 

Both youth groups are regularly involved with the Streets Ministry of Memphis,  local service projects, mission trips (both near and far), fellowship events, retreats, and the LCMS National Youth Gathering every 3 years.  

High School Sunday School meets every Sunday morning in the youth room at 9:45 AM. Both programs are led by Youth Minister, Chris Miller and a great volunteer ministry team who have a heart for youth.
